A simple gluten-free recipe with Carob and Rice flour, both ingredients readily available in Portugal. I just tried this one day and it is the best gluten-free bread we have made.
I’ve been making gluten-free bread for 7 years and found a perfect recipe by trial and error. This recipe is simple and the flours can be bought at the supermarket. You can also buy 10kg bags of carbon flour at agriculture stores to save on cash.
Using the gluten-free setting on the bread machine just put in these ingredients, in the following order:
- 410ml of warm water
- 45ml of olive oil (or any oil)
- 5ml of apple cider vinegar
- 3 eggs
- 260g of white rice flour
- 240g of carob flour
- 25g of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of xantham gum
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 teaspoons of psyllium husk (optional)
- mix of seeds (optional)
- 1.5 teaspoons of yeast
Easy, tasty and cheap so I had to share it as i could never find a gluten-free carbon flour recipe online. Some
