Open days
Each month, Keela opens its doors for visitors. You can join a tour and have a farm to table dinner with produce grown on the farm and much more.
You are welcome to join for the tour or the dinner, or if you want the full immersive experence you can join for all three. Read below for more information.
Keela Permaculture Farm
Founded in 2016, Keela is a 18-hectare certified organic farm, off-grid retreat centre, and permaculture education centre.

Homesteader Laurence Manchee lives onsite and is a certified educator with the Permaculture Association UK, consultant, public speaker and writer for Permaculture Magazine UK.
Saturday 21st December 2024 Schedule
11am: Arrival and welcome drink
12pm-2pm: Talk with Tristan Coverdale on all things mushrooms, foraging and rare fruit trees
12pm-2pm: Hands on Propagation workshop with Laurence Manchee
2pm: Lunch- Farm to Table Italian Christmas Roast with various roast meats, roast vegetables and a nut roast for vegetarians. Followed by a special christmas dessert from Karina from Olive & Acorns.
4pm: socialize music and drinks

About Keela
Tristan Coverdale
- Tristan is an expert with more than 30 years of experience in organic farming. An expert in mushroom foraging and lead mushroom walks in the area. He also has an extended selection of rare and exotic fruit trees in his orchards in the region.
