Visiting Keela
We’d love to have you visit — please just make sure you’ve booked an appointment first. We’re often busy with farm tasks or courses, so unannounced visits usually mean we won’t be able to welcome you properly. A quick appointment ensures we’re ready for you!
Navigation
Please use Google Maps to navigate to Keela Permaculture Farm — other apps may lead you astray. Along the way, keep an eye out for wooden arrows pointing you in the right direction.
Arrival Time
If you’re joining a residential course, please plan to arrive between 4pm and 6pm.
Driving Conditions
The track to the farm is a bit bumpy, so take it slow — and note it’s not suitable for very low vehicles. If it starts to feel like you’re driving down a road to nowhere, don’t worry — you’re going exactly the right way!
Arrival & Gates
You’ll know you’ve arrived when you reach the gate with the padlock (pictured above). Give us a call (+351960188968) at that point and we’ll give you the gate code. Once you’re through, please close all gates behind you to keep our livestock safe, then turn left to park in the designated car park.
Farm Rules
For everyone’s safety and comfort, we ask that you leave dogs at home. We also ask that you don’t pet our farm dog, who’s currently in training as a working dog.

Map from Mata da Rainha Village
As per the Google Maps directions below. You must follow the purple line from the pin X to Keela (as described above). The purple line starts at Mata da Rainha village and ends at Keela. You will notice another shorter way. So don’t drive that way; it is not drivable.
